Slip type elevators/spiders are mechanized tools with air operating. They can handle casings up to 24 1/2 inch. they are easy to operate and dependable enough. Also they can reduce workload. They are designed and manufactured according to API spec 8C. Slip action is controlled by a conveniently positioned pneumatic control valve,or in the case of the 150 tons tools, By simple manual operation. All pneumatically controlled units operated by utilizing the rig air supply. For maximum crew safety, the system may be manyally operated if rig air pressure is temporarily lost.
